Bill Pay FAQ

Q: How do I sign up for Bill Pay?

A: You must be enrolled in our Internet Banking program to sign up for bill pay. If you are already enrolled in IB, you can enroll in Bill Pay through the Internet Banking program. You will need to enter your information and accept the terms and conditions of the Bill Pay agreement.

Q: How long does it take to activate my Bill Pay account?

A: After you complete the enrollment process in the Internet program, you are required to sign a Bill Payment E-statement disclosure stating that you will accept an E-statement in lieu of a paper statement. You can expedite this process by printing this disclosure from our website. Go to our home page and click on (Disclosures>E-statements>E-statement disclosure for customers WITH Bill Pay) and either physically bring it in or mail it to one of our three locations. If we do not have a signed disclosure in file when we receive your electronic enrollment we will mail one to you. Your account WILL NOT be activated until we receive the signed disclosure.

Q: Why am I required to provide a user ID and password on the Bill Pay E-statement disclosure?

A: For security purposes, we are requiring all customers provide us with user ID’s and passwords to password protect their E-statements.

Q: Is Bill Pay completely free?

A: For customers that agree to accept E-statements, Bill Pay is free for the most part. Certain fees and charges apply for customer requested services and other items. A complete list of additional charges is listed on our website under Disclosures>Bill Pay Agreement. These fees are also listed in the initial Bill Pay enrollment agreement.

Q: Can I receive an E-statement without signing up for Bill Pay?

A: Yes, you can receive an E-statement without signing up for Bill Pay, but you can not receive FREE Bill Pay without signing up for E-statements. If you only want to sign up for E-statements go to our website and click on Disclosures>E-statement disclosures>E-statement Disclosure for Customers Without Bill Pay, complete the form and return it to one of our branches.

Q: Is it possible to sign up for Bill Pay without getting an E-statement?

A: Yes, although there will be a charge of $10 per month if you do not agree to accept an E-statement.
