Golden EaglesRead the latest Eagles Newsletter The Eagle Program was organized in 1997 to offer great travel and interesting seminars to the customers of the Athens State Bank that are 50 years of age or older and have an interest bearing account with a balance of $1,000.00. Free! Yes the Eagle Program offers free or discounted services to the members: The travel and seminars that are offered through the program are offered not only to members but to anyone in the community, the more the better. During the years some of the highlighted trips are: Indiana on a Mystery Trip, to St. Louis with the Grandchildren, to Chicago to see the Planetarium and to Hawaii to cruise. Seminars have been: Antiques appraisal, Retirement Planning, Long Term Care Insurance, Investments, Ice Cream Socials, Picnics in the Park, Bingo Nights and don't forget the Annual Dinner where the members enjoy a great meal, visit with friends, and make new friends. A newsletter is sent out at least quarterly to inform members of what is coming up in the future.
